Practice Tests

Practice SAT Info

Your Solution Prep program includes 4 Digital practice SATs. Students should take AT LEAST 1 or 2 practice tests before each real exam.

You’ll get a “Sign In” email when your teacher assigns practice tests, typically after Class 6 of a Basics program (may vary for Partial and Total programs).

ONLY start a practice test when you’re ready to sit down and take a FULL timed test. You will NOT be able to pause a test or return to it later.

Practice ACT Info

Solution Prep’s ACT-Boost program includes unlimited practice ACTs. You must take at least 2 practice tests to complete your program, but you can keep taking practice tests with us until whenever you’re done with the ACT. Here’s what you need to know:

Check our Calendar for upcoming practice ACT dates. They’re usually Saturday and Sunday of the two weekends before each real ACT.
Your numbered practice tests are in your accordion folder. Take them in order. Use these only for complete timed tests, not just random practice.
No pre-scheduling needed. Just join live practice tests via the Zoom link emailed to you before each practice test weekend. Check your junk/spam folder if you don’t see it.
We start at 9:30AM. Log in no later than 9:15AM. Have wood pencils and a calculator. Sit up at a table someplace quiet.
Or use the Virtual Proctor below, any day, any time.
For scoring, scan and email your answer sheet to testing[at]SolutionPrep.com. Include the student’s name, test, and test number in the subject.
Scores post in your “scores” tab in approximately 48-72 hours. You’ll receive an email when they’re uploaded there.
Look over your detailed score report and video test review to keep improving.

Solution Prep met the challenges of test preparation during a Covid year. They offered classes in... person and virtually. The teacher was personable and the preparation was excellent. They give your child plenty of materials for additional practice, too. Solution Prep will even check it for your student. What you get for your money goes way beyond the lessons, however. Solution Prep offers so many FREE seminars on college decisions, funding, negotiating with colleges, etc. In addition to that, the email communication is excellent. If you are unable to make a presentation, they email a video of what you missed. I would highly recommend Solution Prep!read more

This is a tremendous program! They are top notch in every single service that they offer. They... really helped my daughter with her test prep, and as well as writing her college essays. I would recommend Solution Prep to any and all. I’d give them 10 stars if Google would allow that... option. Eric helped my oldest with SAT prep and his essays. Eric and Laura helped my youngest through the entire process. The office staff (shout out to Jay) are helpful and responsive. Eric and Laura answered all my crazy questions, provided wonderful personalized materials, and literally took the reigns with our youngest son. He can have focus issues— Eric kept him on point, working with and through the chaos. All applications were in by the early action deadlines. We sat back and it just happened! She also took the essay class which helped her define her college essay, tweak and make adjustments. I like Solutions Prep because I feel not only did my child get support, Eric and the team are a... good resource to me/parents. The smaller groups allows for more focus for the student. While it's true that your result will based on the effort you put in, every child is different and some needs more supervised support, structure and the test taking tips they provide. As a parent, Solution Prep is great because they hold informational sessions on Financial Aid, FAFSA applications and much more. This is what they do, they're good at it and help you navigate the overwhelming information out there on colleges.read more

If you are looking for your Child to succeed in preparing for College....Solutions Prep is THE... place to go.The instructors are incredible and work well with the kids (AND Parents!!)...on every personality level. Very on point. My Son actually looked forward to the classes (even virtually). THAT says a lot, to me. On top of major preparation for SAT, ACT, Essays, etc...Solutions Prep instilled good study habits, tools, tips , continued encouragement and very accommodating throughout the process. The results are immeasurable :) (beaming) AND...this entire College process was made LESS STRESSFUL for me as well. Eric and team provided invaluable information for Parents with zoom meetings, and continual communication with both my Son and myself.
